There are six bowling clubs situated within the 3 areas of the Algarve, Portugal. The Western Algarve in Portugal is very much a mixture of both traditional & modern. Towns such as Alvor, Lagos & Portimao, typically Portuguese, and Albufeira a tourist hotspot with everything catered toward the British traveller! The beaches of Praia da Rocha near Alvor were rewarded with the distinguished blue flag awards for the best beaches in Europe and are truly spectacular!

The bowling greens are also very popular with the ex pats & have good membership. The Central Algarve houses Vilamoura, Loule & Faro, all with their own charms, whether you prefer the traditional Portuguese towns or the ultra modern Vilamoura with 5* hotels & its famous Marina.

The eastern Algarve is more rural and less touristic, stretching from Olhao to Vila Real St Antonio, with beautiful towns such as Tavira & Cabanas, the east has much to offer, with fantastic bowling greens, a great climate & fabulous hotels offering a variety of food to suit every palate!
